New Practice Members

Whether the appointment is for you or your child, we recommend that our practice members come in well-hydrated. We’ll assess how your body is functioning, as well as your nervous system. This will include a thorough history, spinal and postural exam, and digital x-rays (if needed).

If your baby or child is going to be our new practice member, we can consult just with the parent for this visit. You’ll talk to Dr. Erickson so he can understand you or your child’s history and determine if the challenge you’re seeking help with is related to chiropractic care.

The testing is completely pain-free, noninvasive and gentle. It’s conducted in a calming environment and is easy to complete for most children, even for kids who don’t sit still very well!

After this process, Dr. Erickson takes his time to go over your case and create the best plan of action for your or your child. The overall goal is to get you optimal results in the shortest possible time.

On your next visit, you’ll receive a full report of Dr. Erickson’s findings. We’ll go over the results of all scans and X-rays taken, and review any history necessary to coordinate our findings. We will also give recommendation for how to get you where you want to be with quickly and efficiently. Our commitment to our members is that we will always tell you the truth, and leave the decision making up to you.

In some situations, you may choose to keep your child at home to avoid distractions during the report of findings. If that is the case, we are happy to meet with you first, and schedule them back to give their first adjustment.
